In April of 2015, Dr. Emde traveled with his entire family and a large team of doctors and volunteers from Takoma Regional Hospital and Greeneville Adventist Academy to San Antonio, Texas, for a Your Best Pathway to Health free mega health clinic. They joined 1,700 volunteers of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from all over North America which converged to help those in need in San Antonio. Eye exams, glasses, dental care, medical care, and all kinds of services and goods were provided in the Alamodome. Even surgeries such as hysterectomies, gall bladder removals, and more which were done in local hospitals and were provided free to over 6,192 patients in San Antonio. Overall $20,400.000 (over $20 million) of free services were provided! Click the box below to see where the next free event will be! |
