We have highly trained optical staff who are excellent frame stylists as well. We provide our patients with the very latest in lens materials and technology from super thin high index to incredibly strong and light polycarbonate and the newest Trivex material. We offer the newest and best hydrophobic anti-reflective coatings which are smudge-resistant, anti-static, and come with 2 year scratch warranties from the manufacturer! We offer the latest progressive lenses with high definition free-form technology to provide the most distortion-free optics available from the world's leading manufacturers such as Hoya. We offer hundreds of frames to choose from in both our full-service line and our budget line. We also offer a full line of high quality prescription and non-prescription sunwear such as Bolle, Serrengetti and the new BlueTech & Coppertone outdoor polarized lenses that block the harmful high-energy blue light, but yet allow you to still see smartphones and tablets easily.
Our Equipment:
LIPISCAN/LIPIFLOW: We use the very latest in eye care equipment including being the first and only office in Greeneville to offer the LipiScan meibomian gland imager. This scan can detect MGD (Meibomian Gland Disease) which affects up to 86% of patients who suffer from dry eye disease. For those who do need have MGD, we are also the only clinic in Greeneville who can provide LipiFlow, the gold standard which targets the root problem to provide patients long term relief from dry eye syndrome and future gland damage!
OPTOMAP: The Optomap is ultra-wide high-definition retinal camera which can image up to 80% of the retina in a single picture. Incorporating it into our comprehensive dilated eye exams, we can detect up to 31% more retinal disease!
AdaptRx Pro: This new technology quantifies the dark adaptation (DA) abilities of the retina. Night time vision loss is one of the earliest signs of macular degeneration. AdaptRx Pro is a simple new test that can detect macular degeneration up to 3 years before other tests can. If you have macular degeneration, the test can be billed to your medical insurance. ZEISS OCULAR COHERENCE TECHNOLOGY: we employ state-of-the-art OCT laser retinal tomography that detect glaucoma changes to the optic nerve and surrounding retina years earlier than the current standards of care!
ZEISS THRESHOLD VISUAL FIELDS: We also use advanced computerized Zeiss Humphrey 750i and Field Analyzer 3 visual field machines with GPA--Glaucoma Progression Analysis software and SWAP technology that can detect glaucoma up to five years earlier than traditional visual field testing.
NIDEK LAB EQUIPMENT: Our 3-D computerized patternless edgers can edge lenses to almost any frame while you wait on many prescriptions, and even the most sophisticated lenses can be finished within a week in most cases.
