Bradford M. Emde, O.D.

Dr. Emde is the President/Owner of East View Eye Care, P.C. since 2005. He is a 1997 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry at the Medical Center of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated second in his class and received many awards including the Bausch & Lomb Leadership Award, the Varilux Student Grant Award, and the Omega Co-Management Award.

He married Angela Dyer, a 7th generation Greene county native, and joined Dr. Howard Kelley in practice in Greeneville in 1997. He is also a member of the AOA, TOA, and is past President of NETSOP (North East Tennessee Society of Optometric Physicians). He has been awarded the People's Choice Award for "Best Optometrist" by the Greeneville Sun 11 times for the years of 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and again in 2019.

Shelly F. Shaw, O.D.

Dr. Shaw is a 1997 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She graduated third in her class and received many awards including the Top Clinician Award, the Excellence in Ocular Disease & Basic Sciences Award, and the Sunsoft Contact Lens Achievement Award. Dr. Shaw attended Walter's State Community College and East TN State University. Dr. Shaw is a native of Greene County and married Alfred Shaw in 1997. 

She started practicing in Greeneville in 1997 and joined Dr. Emde in practice in 2005. She is also a member of the AOA, TOA, and is past Vice-President of NETSOP (North East Tennessee Society of Optometric Physicians). She was awarded the People's Choice Award for "Best Optometrist" by the Greeneville Sun 6 times for the years 2007, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and again for 2025.

Tabitha D. Combes, O.D.

Dr. Combes is a 2006 graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.  She was born and raised in Clarksville, TN and attended Austin Peay State University.  She completed an ocular disease residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, TN.  She then worked at a private practice near Lynchburg, Virgina for 11 years before joining our team at East View Eye Care.

She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain biking, traveling and competing in triathlons. 

Linnea M. Stonecypher, O.D.

Dr. Stonecypher is a 2009 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR.  She was born and raised near Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  Her father was an eye doctor for approximately 40 years in Canada.  Dr. Stonecypher married a Greeneville native and comes to East View Eye Care with 13 years of experience.  She is excited to serve the people of Greeneville and Greene County and beyond.

Leslie, Front Office Manager

Leslie is our front office manager.  She oversees all office operations involving the front office including patient examination scheduling, billing, and insurance filing.

Sabrina, C.P.O., Optical Lab Manager​

Sabrina is a certified paraoptometric and is our Optical Lab Manager.  She is also a Certified Paraoptometric on our team of technicians.  She helps with frames selections, frame repairs and adjustments, and oversees the ordering and production of lenses.  She can also work up patients in the pre-test room and perform specialized testing procedures such as visual fields, retinal photography, retinal tomography, keratometry readings, and autorefractions.

Brittany, C.P.O., Lead Technician

Brittany is a certified paraoptometric and leads our team of technicians.   She works up patients in the pre-test room and performs specialized testing procedures such as visual fields, retinal photography, retinal tomography, keratometry readings, and autorefractions. She also does contact lens insertion & removal training.

Dawn

Dawn is our main receptionist.
She is responsible for preparing all records, patient scheduling,
​and patient flow, and phone triage.

Linda

Linda is one of our insurance specialists and record maintenance specialist.  She is responsible for scanning & converting paper records to EMR--electronic medical records.  She also takes care of patients' needs as they check out such as collecting copays, filing insurance, and making follow-up appointments.

​Jaque

Jaque works on our optical team and in the optical lab.  She helps with frame and lens selections, and in the production, dispensing and adjusting of eyewear.

​Katie-Jane​

Katie-Jane is a member on our team of technicians.  She works up patients in the pre-test room and performs specialized testing procedures such as visual fields, retinal photography, retinal tomography, keratometry readings, and autorefractions. She also does contact lens insertion & removal training.

​Ellie Rose

Ellie Rose is a member on our team of technicians.  She works up patients in the pre-test room and performs specialized testing procedures such as visual fields, retinal photography, retinal tomography, keratometry readings, and autorefractions. She also does contact lens insertion & removal training.

She also does contact lens insertion & removal training.  She is also trained in our optical department and assists with frame/lens selections and frame adjustments.
