* "Multiple Pair" discounts All items must be purchased on the same day for the same patient. Discounts will be applied to the least expensive pair(s). There is no limit on how many pairs of glasses you purchase with the discount.
** "Additional Partial Pair" discounts must include a purchase of a "complete pair" of glasses (includes new frame and 2 new lenses) on the same day for the same patient. A 20% discount will then be applied to additional frames and/or additional lenses. There is no limit to how many additional frames/lenses you can get a discount for on the same day.
Examples:
Situation #1:
A computer user who spends many hours on the computer and finds it difficult to use bifocal, trifocal, or progressive lenses because the area of the lens where the computer is clear is too small. We can provide a specialized computer pair of glasses that would provide much better computer and overall desktop vision than regular dress glasses. These also should have blue light protection and non-glare lenses in them not only to protect the retina, but also to ease the eyestrain so the user doesn't feel so tired by the end of the day.
Situation #2:
A bifocal patient who would like a pair of TV glasses that have distance-only vision so that while reclining in a chair the bifocal won't be in the way.
Situation #3:
A patient who wears monovision contact lenses and would like a pair of glasses to wear driving at night or a pair for long periods of reading that are to be worn over their contacts to equalize their vision during these specific situations.
Situation #4:
A bifocal patient who loves to golf or hike in the Smokey Mountains but has trouble viewing the ground clearly through the bifocal would benefit greatly from a "distance vision only" pair especially if they had Sensity/Transition auto-tint lenses that change depending on the amount of sunlight exposure. Sensity Dark lenses are even darker outdoors for those who are more light sensitive while still changing back to a clear lens indoors.
