We have three general departments in our practice:
1. FRONT OFFICE - answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting copays/payments, communication with other offices, and more.
2. TECH/PARAOPTOMETRIC - working up patients, pre-testing, scribing for doctors in exam room, perform special testing, contact lens training, coding, charting, assisting in procedures, contact lens ordering.
3. OPTICAL/LAB - frame selections, measuring/ordering of glasses, making glasses, adjusting & repairing of glasses, inventory of frames and lenses, working with vendors, reconciling statements.
